Carmen…Thank you for emailing me your blog 😉 You have done a wonderful job with this, but what I appreciate most is your insight and knowledge of God's Word. May God continue to pour His blessings out upon your ministry…To God be the glory forever and ever.

For reasons known only to HIM, He keeps bringing me back here. I am truly in a depressed state of mind these days and trying with all my might to discern if it is SIN or SIFTING. I hurt someone who I think was only trying to help me by rejecting (initially) her reproof, I have recognized this error and have apologized and asked forgiveness of her and my Lord, but we have been asked (by our husbands) to stop communicating; therefore, I cannot get a response of forgiveness from her and satan is tormenting me day and night with it. Like your post said yesterday, I am trying to obey even when I can’t feel His presence or joy, but it is soooo hard. I thank you for your wisdom, encouragment, and insight as I try to continue to follow my Lord the my promised Land.

    Thanks,

    Amanda Bowers

Oh, what a perfect lesson for me this time of my life. I truly am in the midst of depression and, thankfully, in God's will. Eleven years of caregiving for my dear mother and I am weary. These years and each day have and are precious to me. I am grateful that the LORD has allowed me to be here for her, now at 95 years old. Reading this and the pertinent Scriptures have given me hope and trust in my LORD. I will ponder the Word more before moving on. Knowing that He is praying for me really blessed me; knowing that a good work is in His will and shall be reaped one day …for these I am so thankful. ~ linda
